In this week’s Opposition Focus, Matt Wiggins spoke to Leicester Fan TV to get a Foxes perspective ahead of the Monday evening kick off at The King Power Stadium…

Leicester vs Fulham, what comes to mind when you think of this fixture from years gone by?

The most recent game that comes to mind is the cup game that ended 3-3 AET, went to penos and Fulham missed their first 3 penalties and we won 3-0.

2015/16 was the season that shocked the footballing world, but it was also amazing to watch. What was that season like as a Leicester fan?

It was a huge fairytale no one could believe it really. It was like seeing an elephant up a tree. You just dont know how it got there, but it managed to stay there some how.

From an outsider’s perspective, Brendan Rodgers has been a fantastic appointment. How good a job has he done in moving the club forward?

BR has done a great job. He has changed the club around and is not afraid to give the youngsters time on the pitch, which can only benefit the future.

A brilliant first 9 games with 6 wins and just 3 defeats sees you 4th in the league. Can you build on this in the rest of the campaign?

We couldn’t have asked for a better start. It was the home games against Villa and West Ham that let us down. Just taking each game 1 at a time. With the Europa League this year we have alot of games .

How does the squad this season compare to the one that finished 5th in the Premier League last season?

We have improved the squad, but with 6 out injured it has stretched us to the limits. But the players coming in have done a good job.

There are a number of players to have played for both. Who would you say is the best player to have donned both the blue of Leicester and the black and white of Fulham?

I think it was more Mickey Adams. What he did at both clubs, as a manager, had the biggest influence on both clubs.

What are your Top 4 and Bottom 3 predictions?

Top Four: Liverpool, Chelsea, Man city and Leicester.

Bottom Three: WBA, Brighton and Burnley.

Finally, how do you see the game panning out and what do you think the score will be?

Home win, 3-0. It will be a tight 1st half and LCFC will break you down in 2nd half. That’s how we normally play this year.
