Why Fulham?

Born up the road in Hammersmith and my Grandad supported them. My Dad took me initially to Chelsea, then Fulham vs Chelsea and from then on I was sold on FFC.

Favourite match?

Too many to pick one, but Pompey away Great Escape, Juventus at home Europa League, Lincoln home promotion in the early eighties, Basle away Europa league.

Favourite Goal?

Pesch scoring vs Liverpool edge of the box League Cup away- I vaguely remember that was something special; Conroy halfway line vs Wycombe.

Favourite Season?

2000/01 promotion but this season could eclipse that if we can keep on and pip Cardiff.

Favourite current and/or ever player?

Roger Brown/ Simon Morgan/ Louis Saha/ Sessegnon will be special but also like Mitrovic too.

What made you get involved in the walk?

Inspired by Lee & what he was doing.

How’s training going?

Need to step it up a bit- doing ok but feel need to bang out weekly more miles.

If you could pick one player from Fulham past or present to walk the final few miles with you who would it be and why?

Simon Morgan- ambassador to the Premier League after having been in FFC Community scheme- Fulham legend & a Brummie.

You’re going to need a few tunes to keep you going. Which artists feature on your playlist and what’s guilty pleasure song?

I’ve labelled my playlist ‘Moody music’- ‘dancehall Sweet Sounds’ & ‘Fulhamish’- have various artists including A Man Called Adam, Public Enemy, London Grammar, Jimmy Cliff, Adele, Stormzy, Soul II Soul & UB40.

Will you make kick-off?

I think so- hate being late for Football.

What luxury item will you be taking with you?

Luxury item will be my son for the last 6 miles, he is travelling up Saturday to stay in Solihull with us, then walking. Looking forward to sharing promotion with him, he was too young last time.

What’s going to be the toughest part of this whole experience?

The toughest part will be keeping everyone going together. The training is the toughest on your own, very mentally challenging. The walk itself is 133 miles of chatting and piss taking but getting started each morning might be difficult too.

Finally, Pie or Pasty, which filling?

It’s got to be pie but difficult to choose which filling. Years ago, Bolton did a decent peppered beef pie at Burnden Park. McD’s apple pie or perhaps a chicken and mushroom pie
