After two games being cancelled, we can finally watch our beloved Fulham again as we play QPR. Can our team lacking in match fitness beat an out of form QPR side?
I have missed watching Fulham a lot over the past two weeks but the wait to watch us play is finally over. We face a QPR side who have just three points from their last five games. Admittedly we only have one more but bare in mind that we play in a league above. We need to shake off our rustiness and put a tonne of goals past QPR to gain some confidence we can take into our league form. If we went out of the cup it wouldn’t be the worst thing especially this season with no fans and a relegation scrap to try and overcome. Having said that, it’s never an option to lose to QPR so it’s a must-win. I’m sure there will be changes given our priorities this season and the positive covid cases in the squad recently. It would make sense to get some use out of the players not included in the 25 man squad at present and to put some of them in the shop window to attract potential suitors. We need reinforcements this month but we also need to ship out a number of players too.
It’s a new year and I’m going to start it off by being positive/optimistic. I think we will win 4-1 with goals from Onomah, Kamara, Kebano and Mitro.

LAST TIME OUT
QPR 1-2 FULHAM (2019/20)
The last time we played QPR we won 2-1 at Loftus Road. Jordan Hugill put his side in the lead after just 1 minute but a Harry Arter pot shot which went under the keeper put us on level terms at the break. Cyrus Christie was the unlikely scorer of our winning goal with a sensational strike which nestled in the bottom left corner.
